In Bed Wars, players need to defend their beds from other players. Due to the nature of the game being undeniably fun and competitive, it is no wonder Bed Wars became such a popular mod. Nowadays, Bed Wars is no longer recognized as simply a Minecraft mod. Another exciting thing about Bed Wars is that it also has a number of modes that make every single game unique and fun. We have specially written this article to guide Bed Wars players, especially the new ones, in the different game modes that Bed Wars has.

• Soloes and Doubles

Soloes and doubles are quite apparent because there will either be only one or two players per team in a match. Both solo and duo use the same map and the same gameplay. Basically, there are either eight players or eight teams with two players each. Apart from the access to the Diamond Generator, there is also one middle island. There are also four Emerald Generators in the middle island. The great thing about this mode is that upgrades are cheaper than other modes. Nevertheless, soloes and duos are still pretty puzzling in their own way and the best way to be at the top of these modes is to constantly train through PvP. For this mode, a good tip would be to always first look for a bed protector before attempting to destroy an enemy bed.

• 3v3v3v3/4v4v4v4

We grouped these two modes together because they are both in the same map and the gameplay is also identical, just like the solo and duo map. In this mode, there are only four teams, two Diamond Generators, and one middle island. We do think that these two modes are for the more experienced players especially since resource management is one of the top priorities. Since in this mode you now have more people to help you, your team should prioritize getting resources like diamonds and emeralds as much as possible. In team fights such as these, it is important to first establish your base with good blocks.

• 4 vs. 4

This one is a relatively new mode which was only released on August 22, 2019. The mode has a unique map layout as well as gameplay but the resource generation is basically the same with the solo, duo, and even 3v3v3v3 and 4v4v4v4 modes. The teams in a 4 vs. 4 mode are only red and blue and they are both facing the middle island, opposite each other. Apart from being the main point of contention, the straightforward middle island also has all the resource generators like the diamond and emerald generator. For this mode, you must have pretty good coordination especially when it comes to alternating. Also, try to cut off technoblade bedwars ’s access to resources by trying to blow up their bridge or using underhanded tactics like sacrificial attacks.

• Dreams

Dreams is actually more of an episodic event in Bed Wars rather than an actual regular game mode. The actual game modes on Dreams differs every single week but they are mostly the usual ones on rotation. Every week, Bed Wars also adds some pretty interesting extra stuff. Dreams can be played on Thursdays during the afternoon.
